Greetings:
I would like to take this opportunity to explain the WIN CARDS Program, how it works and what benefits your Casino would receive in implementing this Casino Marketing Program.
First of all, WIN CARDS are handy, plastic cards, with a dial, designed to assist Casino Operators in acclimating new players to the basics of how to play the Casinos live games of Blackjack, Craps, Roulette and Baccarat. They work to reduce the intimidation factor that prevents many casino customers from giving the live games a try.
These cards provide only the absolute basics of how to play the games and they give the Casino an excellent alternative and/or accessory to any existing free gaming lesson program.
The Blackjack WIN CARD, for example, recommends that the player split only aces and eights, no matter what the dealer's up card is. The information is correct but, intentionally limited. The WIN CARDS will not increase the skills of your existing players but, they will quickly and easily show beginners the basics of how to play these live games.
By providing information designed for these novices, the WIN CARDS will not, in any way, negatively effect the Casino's Win Margin and the smooth operation of the Casino.
Instead of passing these cards out to everyone who comes to the Casino, we have devised a very successful method with which to distribute these cards.
Here is a short synopsis concerning the basics of the WIN CARDS Program so that you can determine in your discussions with your associates, whether the introduction of this Promotion might be a possibility, at your Casino (s).
With minor variation, depending on the Casino Jurisdiction, this is how it could work. The WIN CARDS wholesale to the Casino for approximately $5.00 per set. They are then sold to your customers for $10.00 per set. Those who purchase the WIN CARDS would receive a "refund/bonus" of $15.00 in special non-negotiable chips or coupons.
The procedure would be, the customer would fill out the WIN CARDS Flier/enrollment coupon that would be available at strategic locations around your property. They would take this coupon to your Player's Club. Their name would be entered into your computer. If the customer had not previously purchased WIN CARDS, their flier would be validated by a time stamp, rubber stamp or initials of the counter agent.
At the main Casino Cashier or Gift Shop, the customer would be able to present their validated flier and $10.00. They would receive their WIN CARDS, $15.00 in special, non-negotiable chips and/or coupons, and, the "Dealer's Tip Coupon", which is a special coupon designed to involve the dealers in this Promotion.
The "Dealer's Tip Coupon" says on it, "Please present this coupon to your casino dealer. It will be played along with your bet. If it wins, the Dealers receive a $1.00 tip. Thank your for participating in our WIN CARDS Program".
It is like a "lucky buck" for the dealers and is essential to insure the interest and involvement of your front line staff, as well as, the successful implementation of this Program.
The offer is strictly limited to one per person. Those who purchase the WIN CARDS must play on your live games, until they lose their chips and/or coupons.
This system identifies these customers to you for control, tracking and follow-up marketing efforts. It gets the money out of these people's pockets and places them on your live games, wanting to play.
Many people are reluctant to try a live game because they do not know how to play. They do not want to look stupid, lose their money and have nothing to show for their efforts.
With the WIN CARDS Program, when they lose their special chips and/or coupons, they have a nice souvenir of their live gaming action and, something that will increase their affinity and, hopefully, the prospect of future play on your Casino's live games.
WIN CARDS are rarely used on the live games by these customers. What they do, though, is take them to their rooms or homes and study them in private.
So, the two subjects of concern to Casino Operators have been hereby addressed. They will not hurt your win margin, nor, will they slow up your games. After over a dozen years of experience, in over 125 Casinos, Riverboats and Cruise ships, all over the world, I guarantee it!
WIN CARDS are perceived as being like a "plastic security blanket". With this Promotion, your customers are attracted due to the $5.00 Bonus and the prospect of learning how to play, feel safe in getting their money back, and, they appreciate the "extra mile" that the Casino goes to, to provide them with this "great deal".
The Greatest Benefit that these cards would provide for you is the fact that most people pass their WIN CARDS or information on how to get them onto a spouse, friend or associate. In this manner, the WIN CARDS can turn your existing players into ambassadors for your Casino (s) and sales people for your live table games.
Among many other Casinos, WIN CARDS are presently in action at the Excalibur, Palace Station and the Lady Luck, in Las Vegas; Boomtown, in Reno and Biloxi; the Flamingo Hilton - Reno and Ballys - Tunica, Mississippi. The designs for some of our "Customized" WIN CARDS Tri-packs, are posted on our web-site, www.wincards.com.
In summary, WIN CARDS provide an "anonymous, self-service" method with which new players can learn how to play the live games. Since there are no negative aspects of this Program, perhaps, you can become instrumental in the introduction of this Program and/or the use of WIN CARDS at your Casino (s).
In most cases, the Program can be provided on a consignment basis. You would be provided with all of the collateral, promotional material to try the Program out with. The WIN CARDS can be paid for the month after the Casino actually sells them.
The Nevada Gaming Commission has provided clarification as to how these special WIN CARDS non-negotiable chips are to be treated, accounting-wise.
Posted on this site is a copy of the letter that I sent to them, requesting a ruling on how this Program should be accounted for. It says that since the Casino is making a $5.00 profit, at the point of sale of the WIN CARDSf, the $15.00 in non-negotiable chips can be valued at 1/3 of their value.
This makes the WIN CARDS Transaction a "wash", accounting-wise and, when combined with my offer of consignment, allows you to implement the WIN CARDS Program on a cost-free basis!
If you have any questions or would like samples of any of the WIN CARDS or collateral material, please give me a call or email me at wincards2@aol.com.
Your time and considerations are certainly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Ted Gottlieb
